Mealy Bug Parasite Wasp - Leptomastix epona

Leptomastix epona is a small yellow/ brown parasitic wasp that attacks Pseudococcus viburnimealybugs by laying eggs in the mealybug, which then die and from which a new Leptomastix epona wasp will emerge. They are more effective at lower densities of mealybug infestation. For larger infestations combine with the use of the predatory ladybird species ; Cryptolaemus montrouzieri. Leptomastix epona is supplied as a unit of 25 or 100 parasitic wasps.
