This national trust ladybird tower is the perfect place for ladybirds to shelter.
The inside of the tower is hollow and filled with straw to make it cosy and warm, with a dozen drilled holes leading to the inside chamber.
The tower comes with a pole to fix it in the ground. This allows it to be placed in flower beds, lawns and other sheltered areas around the garden.
Ladybirds will naturally flock to the tower, however, smearing ladybird food around the holes can be used for some encouragement.
